abstract |
A well treatment fluid composition which includes carrageenan and guar is said to be able to absorb a minimum of its own weight in water and render the composition pumpable. The composition can also be used to enhance the thermal insulation of a production tubing or transfer pipe surrounded by at least one annuli. The composition may also include a corsslinking agent, brine or a viscosifying polymer or a gelling agent. |
