abstract | A bubble-squeezing toy (10) includes a hollow body (12) formed of flexible plastics material having low stretchability and an aperture (15). A liner (11) formed of flexible plastics material having high stretchability is located within the hollow body (12) and has a portion adjacent to the aperture (15) that can stretch through the aperture (15) to form an external bubble (16) upon squeezing of the body (12). Another bubble-squeezing toy (50) has a body (12) formed of resilient, stretchable plastics material having two internal chambers (fig 5), on of which has an area of reduced thickness that can stretch to form an external bubble (16) upon squeezing of the body (12). A partition exists between the internal chambers and an aperture is provided in the partition via which the chambers communicate with one another. An air-driven squeaker (17) may be attached to the partition at the aperture. |
