abstract |
A driver circuit (25) is mounted in the vicinity of an electro-optical converter (23) , whereby heat generated by the driver circuit (25) may propagate towards the electro-optical converter (23) . The arrangement includes a passive heat sink element (27) provided in a casing (21) for mounting the driver circuit (25), whereby heat generated by the driver (25) is essentially dissipated by the passive heat sink element (27) . The driver circuit 25 drives the electro optical converter 23 which is mounted in the casing 21. The heat sink 27 may be T shape and made from Cu W, Cu alloys or ceramic materials. The arrangement may include an external heat dissipator mounted on the outer surface of the casing 21. |
