An active energy ray curable composition comprises an epoxy compound with substituents at both alpha and beta positions of the oxirane ring. The epoxy compound may have a molecular weight of 170 to 1000 and the composition may further comprise an oxetane compound or a vinylether compound. A cationic photopolymerisation initiator, such as an aryl sulphonium salt may also be provided. Typically, the composition comprises a pigment with a particle diameter of 10 to 150 nm together with a pigment dispersant. The viscosity of the composition may be 5-50 mPa s at 25{C. The composition may be used in inkjet inks, printing inks, coating paints, and adhesives. |
