Product with water-soluble packaging; skin pack |
abstract |
A product containerisation system contains a solid item X having at least one hollow for receiving a secondary composition, the secondary composition being retained in the hollow by sealing a water soluble polymeric film over the composition and at least part of the solid item. The hollow or hollows may be formed in an upper surface of the solid item which is coated with a heat-activated coating for sealing the film. The film may be part of a polymeric sheet 101 forming part of a skin pack in which such items are held against a planar sheet 103 which may be folded into an erected container. Twisting of the item X and overlying film about an axis 105 transverse to the sheet 103 may shear the film 101 around the perimeter 107 of the product. |
