A security and/or edge protection barrier apparatus and system for personnel protection on/in buildings, the system involving providing a plurality of barrier forming units (1) mountable upon support posts (2) located at predetermined spaced apart positions along a line along which it is required to provide the barrier system, and barrier support means (12) for enabling the temporary mounting of the barrier forming units (10 to the support posts (2) in such manner that they bridge adjacent pairs of such elements for the period for which protection is required. |
