abstract A mobile phone casing 2 is disclosed where the internal components can be changed, the user being able to retain the use of the casing 2. The casing 2 may be made out of precious metals, jewels/gems, wood or leather, and is intended for lasting use. The battery (79, figure 13) and the electronics (24) are removable and able to be exchanged for another set. The internal mounting portion located inside the covers separates the battery (79, figure 13) from the electronics (24), allowing an electrical connection between the two.
