| abstract |
The invention relates to the customisation of consumer electronic devices. The casing is formed from a number of elements capable of individual formation. The materials of the individual elements are selected from a preselected set by a commissioning party, the customer. The selected elements are used in manufacturing a case. The invention also provides methods for selecting and ordering the cases. These involve allowing casing elements to be selected by the customer and communicating the selections to allow the case to be made. The devices may be mobile phones. |
