abstract |
The invention provides a process for treating a surface of a substrate with a composition comprising:-<BR> the reaction product of an amino-functional organic polymer, preferably a polyethylenimine and a reactive silane or a mixture of reactive silanes of the formula:<BR> <BR> <CHE>(R<SP>3</SP>O)<SB>n</SB>(R<SP>4</SP>)<SB>3-n</SB> SiX</CHE><BR> <BR> in a non-aqueous solvent, by applying the composition on to the surface to form a layer and curing the layer in the presence of moisture. |
