titleOfInvention | Dental restorative material |
abstract | A dental restorative material comprising (1) an amorphous inorganic material having a refractive index in a D-line of sodium in the range of 1.470-1.520 and having an X-ray opacity. selected from a group including fluoro/aluminosilicate glasses; (2) a (meth)acrylic ester monomer not having a benzene ring in a molecule thereof, selected from unsaturated polyesters, an example is (m)ethyl methacrylate; (3) and a polymerisation initiator. Preferably the dental restorative material might further comprise an amorphous inorganic material having a refractive index in a D-line of sodium equal to or less than that of the (meth)acrylic ester monomer not having a benzene ring in a molecule thereof, selected from a group including amorphous silica prepared by the sol-gel or burning and oxidising method. |
