abstract In a high-speed synchronous memory device having a dual port, a data input buffer 33 buffers the data received through the first port and transmits the buffered data to a memory cell array 31 synchronously with a first clock signal CLK1. A first data output buffer 35 buffers the data output from the memory cell array 31 and outputs the buffered data to the outside through a first port DQ synchronously with the first clock signal. A register 36 temporarily stores the data output from the memory cell array 31. A second data output buffer 37 buffers the data output from the register 36 and outputs the buffered data to the outside through a second port synchronously SDQ with a second clock signal CLK2.
