abstract |
Moldings of rigid polyurethane foam which are reduced in the quantity of dust swirling in the air in cutting and are useful as the material for models. They can be produced by hardening a composition comprising 3 to 30 % (based on the total mass) of a (poly)oxyalkylene compound (e) represented by the general formula: Z[(AO) m X] n wherein A is C 2 -C 4 alkylene; X is a monovalent hydrocarbon group or acyl; m is 1 to 100; n is 1 to 6; and Z is a residue prepared by eliminating all the active hydrogen atoms from a compound having n active hydrogen atoms, provided at least one member selected among a group Z and n groups X has 5 to 20 carbon atoms, a filler (c), and a minute amount of a dehydrating agent (d) by mechanical frothing. |
