A CMOS image sensor includes a control and interface unit 10 for controlling its operation sensor using a state machine and for interfacing the CMOS image sensor with an external system; a pixel array 20 generating analogue signals, a converter 30 for converting the analogue signals into digital signals, and a testing circuit 50 for verifying operations of the converter 30 and the control and interface unit 10, by controlling the converter 30. |
