abstract |
The present invention relates to a detergent tablet comprising a granular component having an average particle size greater than 250Ám and less than 1200Ám in diameter and wherein 10 grams of the granular component dissolves in 1 litre of deionised water at 25‹C in 80 seconds or less. The granular component may be an organo phosphonate such as 1-hydroxy ethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid or the sodium salt thereof. A polymeric binder and a phosphate builder may also be present. |
