abstract |
A process for preparing a detergent tablet suitable for use in either automatic dishwashing or fabric laundering methods comprises the step of obtaining partially prehydrated particulate hydratable salt wherein at least 60% of the hydratable salt has a particle size of 0.6 mm or greater and between 25% and 70% of the salt is present in the hydrated form. The hydratable salt is preferably sodium tripolyphosphate. |
