abstract A resonance attenuating apparatus is formed by a disk-shaped member 1 for attachment to a rotary magnetic-head drum in the manner shown in Figure 1A. The member 1 comprises a ring-shaped weight 20, attaching means 10, and linking means formed by a plurality of flexible support webs 31 resiliently linking the weight 20 to the attaching means 10. The member 1 may be formed as one unit using an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS resin).
