abstract |
The invention provides a method for oligomerizing an * small Greek alpha *olefin by means of a catalyst system comprising a chromium compound having at least one chromium-pyrrolyl bond and an alkylaluminum compound, wherein the alkylaluminum compound is used in an amount of at least 20 mmol per g of the chromium compound. Preferably, the oligomerization is carried out in a saturated hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of hydrogen. |
