titleOfInvention | Process for producing cellulose fibres |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for producing cellulose fibres where a solution of cellulose in an aqueous tertiary amine oxide is extruded through the holes in a spinneret to form filaments which are taken through an air gap into a substantially aqueous regenerating bath. While being taken through the air gap, the extruded filaments are brought into contact with an aliphatic alcohol in gaseous form only. The process of the invention provides cellulose fibres with a very low fibrillation tendency. |
