Titanium and zirconium complexes of compounds of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R1 to R5 are standard substituents (R2 to R4 may link to form cyclic structures) X1 is a bond or O, S or amino linkage m and n are zero or an integer. Zirconium and titanium are from inorganic salts or alcoholates of the metal. They are as corrosion inhibitors in coating compositions for protecting metallic surfaces. |
