titleOfInvention Connecting element and lattice girder interconnected with a plurality thereof
abstract A plurality of connecting elements (4) interconnect a plurality of parallel bars (2, 3) of a lattice girder segment (1). The connecting elements (4) are formed as a three-dimensional, closed polygon of steel rod. The rod has a minimum yield stress of 520 N/mm<2> and a smooth surface. The bending radii of the polygon are at most twice the diameter of the rod. Prior to bending the rod, has been cold formed by rolling, stretching or by drawforming. Connecting flanges (16) are used to join girders together via bolt holes (17). <IMAGE>
