titleOfInvention UV-curable organosiloxane compositions
abstract A curable composition, which converts to an elastomeric or resinous state upon exposure to UV radiation, comprises (A) a diorganosiloxane polymer having at least two silicon-bonded groups of the formula : [-RCH(OR')2] wherein R is an alkylene group and each R' represents <IMAGE> (where p is 0 or 1> or the two R' groups together represent <IMAGE> and (B) an amino compound which is selected from (i) organic amines which have at least 2 primary or secondary amine groups and (ii) organosiloxanes having at least 2 silicon-bonded groups RNHX wherein X denotes hydrogen or a primary or secondary amino substituted alkyl group. The total number of M groups and amino groups should be at least 5. The compositions are useful for coating a variety of substrates.
