| abstract | In a method for preparing transfer designs, using a transparent board (2), a pattern (3), framing paint (5), coloring paint (6) and decorations (4), a design outline is formed on the transparent board (2) with the framing paint (5). The pattern (3) may be placed under the transparent board (2) so that the design outline can be traced from the pattern (3). The design is then colored by depositing the coloring paint (6) on the transparent board (2) within the design outline. The framing paint (5) has a greater viscosity than the viscosity of the coloring paint (6) so that the coloring paint (6) can be deposited on the transparent board (2) before the framing paint (5) dries. After the framing paint (5) and the coloring paint (6) have dried, the design is removed from the transparent board (2) and placed on a substrate, eg on glass or pottery. <IMAGE> |
