abstract In order to produce a structural material with resilient lightweight particles and which is then intended to be pumped at 4 bars and more, a method is used in which the particles are, prior to being admixed, sealed against penetration by liquid. They may be initially coated with a hydrophobing agent and then with water glass and are then dried. The sealing is intended to prevent water penetrating the pores of the balls. The particles are particularly expanded clay balls.
