A peptide derivative of formula <IMAGE> is produced by cultivation of a corresponding cyclic hexapeptide with a bacterium. The compound has antifungal properties and may be used as a therapeutic agent in the treatment of mycotic infections (particularly those caused by Candida) and to control fungal growth on articles, plants, soil and wood. |
