abstract |
A composition suitable for application to glass substrates to give shatterproofing properties, comprises a polyurethane which is the reaction product of a polycarbonate diol and/or an aliphatic polyester diol, an organic diisocyanate and a chain extender possessing an active hydrogen containing group. The composition further comprises an organic polyisocyanate and optionally a reactive silicone oil. The glass substrates are, in particular, fluorescent lamps. |
