Process for preserving waste, subsoils and the like, is characterized in that it consists in mixing an organic and/or inorganic hardener consisting of components containing more than 12 carbon atoms with fly ash and cement, allowing said mixture to stand for at least 24 hours, and adding said mixture to waste sludge that contains an amount of calcium compound. The waste may be sludge, moistened household refuse, cement slurry or aqueous residue of a water purification plant. Specified hardeners include calcium silicate, sodium silicate, bentonite clay and mont morillonite. |
