A toy trackway system includes a vehicle 1 capable of retrieving an object 5 from a station 4a, 4b or 4c or depositing an object at the station. The vehicle incorporates electric motor drive to front wheels, the drive automatically reversing when the vehicle encounters track projections 46,48. During forward movement, the vehicle head nods and a bellows actuated whistle sounds. A pivoted lower jaw and pivoted tongue cooperate with the objects 5 and stops 82 during retrieval or deposit of an object. A turntable F is powered by the vehicle's driven wheels and manually controlled. Points are provided at G and 2''. <IMAGE> |
