abstract Novel compounds of the formula <IMAGE> when n = 1, and the dotted line represents an optional double bond; <IMAGE> n is 0 or 1; each R<1> is independently hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkanoyl, halo, trifluoromethyl, cyano or nitro; R<2> is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R<3> is lower alkyl, perfluoroloweralkyl or perfluorophenyl, with the proviso that when n = 0, R<3> is other than lower alkyl; each R<4> is independently hydrogen or lower alkyl; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, are useful in the treatment of leukotriene-mediated naso-bronchial obstructive airpassageway conditions, such as allergic rhinitis, allergic bronchial asthma and the like, and in antithrombotic therapy.
