abstract The new blue nitrobenzene dye of formula:… …<IMAGE>… and cosmetically acceptable salts thereof, have excellent solubility in water and the usual dyeing media. Furthermore, when used in combination with one or more yellow nitrobenzene dyes, they give, especially on hair sensitised by treatment such as bleaching or permanent waving, natural shades having good lightfastness and washing resistance.
