titleOfInvention A fodder concentrate having weight-gain increasing effect
abstract A fodder concentrate having weight-gain increasing effect comprises 2-formyl-quinoxaline-1, 4-dioxide carbomethoxyhydrazone (carbadox) and propylene glycol which is bound to a solid carrier consisting of magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium peroxide and/or silica and containing 25 to 75 percent by weight of propylene glycol, calculated on the total amount of carrier and propylene glycol. Due to the presence of the solid carrier comprising propylene glycol the explosion risk connected with the treatment of carbadox is completely eliminated.
