abstract |
A method for quantitative measurement of phosphatidyl glycerol in the liquid such as body fluid in which the fluid is treated with an enzyme to obtain glycero-3-phosphate, said enzyme being able to play as a catalyst in a reaction to produce said glycero-3- phosphate and diglyceride from phosphatidyl glycerol and water, and the liberated glycero-3-phosphate is measured. The enzyme may be phospholipase C. |
