abstract Free-flowing base beads, into which nonionic detergent in liquid form may be absorbed to make a free- flowing particulate built synthetic nonionic organic detergent product of improved washing properties, include 15 to 30% of sodium carbonate, 10 to 22% of sodium bicarbonate, 10 to 50% of water softening aluminium silicate (zeolite), 0 to 18% of sodium silicate, 1 to 20% of bentonite and/or 0.05 to 2% of polyacrylate of molecular weight in the range of 1,000 to 5,000, and 1 to 15% of moisture, together with suitable adjuvants and processing aids in small proportions (normally totalling less than 10% and preferably less than 5%).
