Curable polysiloxane release coating compositions are modified by the inclusion of rosin or a derivative thereof containing aliphatic double bond on the ring system. Coatings from the compositions have lower adhesion than unmodified coatings i.e. they have reduced releasing properties which can be of value on release papers e.g. label backings used in high speed manufacturing processes. |
