titleOfInvention | Electrodeposition of lead-indium alloy |
abstract | An electrolyte for the co- deposition of lead and indium comprises an aqueous solution of complexes of lead and indium with (1) the sodium or potassium salt of diethylene triamine penta acetic acid and (2) a second complexing agent for indium and of lesser complexing power, for indium than DTPA and which has substantially no inhibiting effect on the deposition rate of indium when the electrolyte is in use, e.g. glucono-delta-lactone, Na or K gluconate or citric or tartaric acid, the electrolyte having a pH of between 4 and 11. The electrolyte may also contain Na or KNO2 and/or gelatin. |
