abstract Benzamides, in the form of racemates or enantiomers, corresponding to the formula (I> <IMAGE> in which n and m are independently of one another equal to 1, 2, 3 or 4 and R is the radical CF3 or an alkylthio radical in which the alkyl is linear or branched and has from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and also their addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable acids. The compounds are useful in treating disorders of the central nervous system, and a process for preparing them and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are also disclosed.
