abstract |
An adhesive composition for use in an adhesive tape is provided which comprises 100 parts by weight of a lower molecular weight chloroprene polymer having an average molecular weight of 500 to 20,000, 1 to 100 parts by weight of at least one metal oxide, 10 to 150 parts by weight of a tackifying resin and 1 to 30 parts by weight of a curing agent. A process for producing the adhesive tape is also provided which comprises forming a layer of the above composition and then heating and curing the layer such that the layer has a penetration of 1 to 15 mm. |
