abstract Superfatted toilet soap bars are prepared from compositions comprising predominantly sodium soap of higher fatty acids and minor proportions of superfatting higher fatty acids, high molecular weight poly(ethylene oxide) and water. A process for making such compositions includes blending the polymer with the superfatting acids and some of the water, and mixing the blend with the soap.
