titleOfInvention | Paste-like photopolymerizable dental restorative compositions |
abstract | A photopolymerisable mixture is described which cures under the influence of electromagnetic waves, in particular as a result of irradiation with light. It contains a monomer resin, at least one monomer acting as a diluent, an initiator and an accelerator. The mixture can be employed, in particular, for restoring teeth, specifically, for example, as a one-phase mixture for preparing coatings in dental medicine or as a mixture, consisting of a single paste, which can be used for preparing tooth fillings, where, in the latter case, the mixture can optionally contain further fillers. The mixtures can be stored for long periods and can be used immediately without the addition of any supplements. As soon as they have been applied to the desired position, they can be cured by the influence of light. |
