titleOfInvention | Nitroaromatic glycosides and their preparation |
abstract | The process is used to prepare nitroaromatic glycosides of the formula (I) <IMAGE> R and n are characterised in the preceding Claim 1. This process starts from acetylated glycosides of the formula <IMAGE> in which Ac is an acetyl radical. These glycosides are reacted with specific phenols in the presence of a catalyst at a temperature in the range from 80 to 120 DEG C. The product formed thereby is nitrated and finally deacetylated. The compounds obtained in this way can be used for the determination of alpha -amylase. |
