The pigment used for pigmenting high molecular-weight organic material is a diazo compound of the formula <IMAGE> where X is a hydrogen or chlorine atom, an alkyl or alkoxy group having 1-6 carbon atoms or a nitro or trifluoromethyl group, and R is an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms. The orange to brown colourings obtained, for example in PVC, polystyrene, polyolefins or in paints, are distinguished by good migration fastness and extremely high light and weathering fastness properties. |
