abstract | The fungicide contains a mixture of 20 to 80 % of at least one benzimidazole compound of the formulae I and II or their salts with (C12- to C18-) alkanesulphonic acid or with dodecylbenzenesulphonic acid and 80 to 20 % of at least one amine compound. The amine compound is selected from the group consisting of chloroacetamide, N-hydroxymethylchloroacetamide, N-hydroxymethylethanolamine and addition or condensation product of formaldehyde and melamine, or of formaldehyde and primary hydroxyalkylamines. The symbols of the formulae I and II have the meaning given in Patent Claim 1. The fungicide can be employed in particular in the protection of buildings and in paints. It is biodegradable. <IMAGE> |
