titleOfInvention Detergent composition
abstract 1520488 Detergent composition PROCTER & GAMBLE CO 12 Nov 1975 [13 Nov 1974] 46702/75 Heading C5D Non-phosphate, non-calcium carbonate-containing, granular, detergent compositions comprise (a) from 5 to 90% by weight of a detergency builder, (b) from 5 to 50% by weight of a non-cationic synthetic detergent and (c) from 0À1 to 13% by weight of a salt of benzoic acid as anti-caking agent. Alternatively, the compositions may comprise (e) from 10 to 60% by weight of a detergency builder which is a carbonate, bicarbonate, sesquicarbonate or silicate, (f) from 5 to 40% by weight of a non-soap anionic detergent, (g) from 0.5 to 10% by weight of a salt of benzoic acid and (h) from 1 to 40% by weight of a crystallization seed, which may be calcium carbonate. The benzoic acid salt may be sodium or calcium benzoate. Component (a) may be an amorphous-crystalline aluminosilicate. Component (b) may be ethoxylated alkyl sulphate. Granule formation may be accomplished by spray drying.
