abstract 1500441 Suspension fertilizer PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN NV 10 Feb 1975 [13 Feb 1974 17 Dec 1974 (3)] 5491/75 Heading CIB A fertilizer in the form of a dispersion of undissolved nutrient materials in aqueous solution of nutrient materials, contains a hydrated magnesium-aluminium silicate and a dispersing agent which comprises (a) from 0À1 to 14% by weight of at least one of sorbitol, polyvinyl alcohol, caseinate or a soluble starch hydrolysate, (b) a combination of 0À1 to 6% by weight of sodium polyphosphate and from 0À1 to 14% by weight of at least one of sorbitol, polyvinyl alcohol, caseinate or a soluble starch hydrolysate, (c) a combination of 0À1 to 8% by weight of hexoses and pentoses plus lignin sulfonic acids or the ammonium, calcium, magnesium and/or sodium salts thereof and from 0À1 to 14% by weight of at least one of sorbitol, polyvinyl alcohol, caseinate or a soluble starch hydrolysate, or (d) a combination of 0À1 to 6% by weight of sodium polyphosphate and 0À1 to 8% by weight of hexoses and pentoses plus lignin sulfonic acids or of ammonium, calcium, magnesium and/or sodium salts thereof. The fertilizer may also contain trace elements, secondary plant nutrients, chelating agents, and/or pesticides. Preferably the nutrient salts are readily soluble.
