abstract 1500434 Tertiary amines PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN NV 4 April 1975 [8 April 1974] 13911/75 Heading C2C Novel compounds (III) where R 1 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group or a dialkylamino group having up to 2 carbon atoms per substituent, a hydroxy group, a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom or a fluorine atom, R 2 is a hydrogen atom or, if R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, one of the remainings of R 1 , while R 1 and R 2 both may represent an alkoxy group having up to 2 carbon atoms or together a methylene dioxy group or an ethylene dioxy group, R 3 is an alkyl group having up to 2 carbon atoms, R 4 is an alkyl group having up to 2 carbon atoms, R 4 is an alkyl group having up to 3 carbon atoms, R 5 is a branched or non-branched alkylene group having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms, X is an oxygen atom or an ethylene dioxy group, and R 6 is a branched or non-branched or cyclized alkyl group having up to 8 carbon atoms, and salts thereof formed with pharmaceutically acceptable acids, with the exception of the compound in which R 1 =OCH 3 , R 2 =H, R 3 =CH 3 , R 4 = C 2 H 5 , R 5 =(CH 2 ) 3 , X=O and R 6 =C 2 H 5 , are prepared according to standard methods. Pharmaceutical preparations having spasmolytic action contain (III) as active ingredient. Administration is orally, rectally or parenterally.
