abstract 1499789 Disinfectant for toilets HENKEL & CIE GmbH 15 June 1976 [16 June 1975] 24705/76 Heading A5E A disinfectant for use in recirculation toilets, comprises an aqueous or aqueous/alcoholic medium containing 5 to 20 percent by weight of formaldehyde 0 to 1.5 percent by weight of glyoxal 2 to 13 percent by weight of glutaric dialdehyde and 0.5 to 5 percent by weight of a quaternary ammonium salt having a disinfecting action. The quaternary ammonium salt may be benzyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, dodecyl trimethylammonium chloride, dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, dodecyl pyridinium chloride or dichlorobenzyl dimethyl-dodecyl ammonium chloride. Optional ingredients are colouring agents, odorant substances and wetting agents.
