1499708 Nitromethylene compounds SOC D'ETUDES SCIENTIFIQUES ET INDUSTRIELLES DE L'ILE-DE-FRANCE 8 June 1976 [9 June 1975] 18917/77 Divided out of 1499707 Heading C2C Compounds of the general formula (R 1 = C 1-5 hydroxyalkyl; R 2 = H, C 1-3 alkyl; m = 1-3) are prepared by reacting the corresponding 2-one (in which the hydroxy group may be acylated) with a dialkyl sulphate, alkali metal alkoxide and primary C 1 4 nitroalkane. The preparation of N-(3-acetoxypropgl)-2- pyrrolidinone is described. |
