abstract | 1495503 Fibre-forming acrylic polymers SOC ITALIANA RESINE SIR SpA 8 Nov 1974 [28 Nov 1973] 48554/74 Heading C3P A novel copolymer has units derived from acrylonitrile, α - bromoacrylonitrile and a neutral non-halogenated monomer. Alternatively a novel composition comprises (1) a copolymer of acrylonitrile, α-bromoacrylonitrile, and optionally a neutral non-halogenated monomer, and (2) a copolymer of acrylonitrile and a neutral non-halogenated monomer. In all cases the final composition has a monomer content of acrylonitrile 74-94, α-bromoacrylonitrile 4-15 and neutral monomer 2-11 weight per cent. Small amounts of units of a dye receptive monomer can also be present. The polymers and compositions are made in conventional fashion. |
