titleOfInvention | Sulphamide derivatives containing phosphorus and a process for making them |
abstract | 1483680 Flame-retardant polyurethane foams HOECHST AG 5 June 1975 [5 July 1974] 24281/75 Heading C3R [Also in Division C2] Polyurethane foams are rendered flameretardant by incorporating in the foam-forming mixture a phosphonate ester derivative of the formula in which R, is an optionally halo-substituted C 1 -C 6 alkyl radical or is an aryl radical and R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are selected from H, -CH 2 OH and -CH 2 P(O)(OR 1 ) 2 where R 1 is as defined above. An example is given in which the foam forming mixture comprises a branched polyether polyol (based on propylene oxide), toluylene diisocyanate, a compound of the formula water, triethylene diamine, tin (II) octoate and a polydimethylsiloxane block copolymer. |
