abstract 1480199 Hypothyroid serum control WARNER-LAMBERT CO 14 May 1975 [28 May 1974] 20352/75 Heading A5B A hypothyroid serum control is obtained by adding 5-20% w/v neutral decolourising carbon to blood serum, mixing for 3-30 hrs at 4‹C, twice centrifuging at 34,800g and 4‹C, then filtering a lyophilising. The supernate untreated normal serum may be added to the product in an amount of 10-35% of the initial amount of serum taken. The serum is preferably not horse blood serum.
