1480130 Coating SIEMENS AG 28 Feb 1975 [1 March 1974 31 Jan 1975] 8597/75 Heading B2E A metal wire has a lacquer insulating coating and, covering the coating, a layer of a lubricant for the wire which is a compound of the type X-Y-R, where X is a chemical group containing at least one ethylenically unsaturated group and/or one active hydrogen atom, R is a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon radical and Y is a bridging moiety between X and R consisting of one or more carbon and/or nitrogen and/or oxygen and/or sulphur atoms, X and/or R serving to impart an unguent of soapy consistency to the compound. Numerous suitable groupings for X, R and Y are given and many preferred compounds are also listed, particularly preferred are 2, 4-dialkenoxy-6-mono- or di-N- substituted amino-s-triazines. The wire may be in the form of a winding for an electric motor The winding may first be impregnated with a synthetic resin such as an epoxide resin or a polyurethane resin. The particularly preferred lubricants are lauryl, myristyl, cetyl, or stearyl esters of cinnamic acid. |
